ew and upcoming soul artist Kauthar Abdulrasheed better known as Koko, 19, has recently released her debut album ‘Lagos’ which talks about her experiences and climb to where she is now. When interviewing her, she talked a lot about her future and where she plans to go from here, revealing a lot about her personal life and how she incorporated her personal experiences into her lyrics. Having joined her in the recording studio and lived with her for a week, i learned and experienced how she lives and her fun approach to life. When asked what influences her music most she replied “Happiness is the key to good music and that’s something I like to deliver to my fans”. we asked her what came about her to “Struggle makes you a bet- do her album she said “As ter person and pushes you to an African born child, I always had work harder...” ambition and desired to inspire people because of the struggle I had been trough. Struggle makes you a better person and pushes you to work harder and gives you the yearning you need.”. .
