I’m really excited about our upcoming Newborn Photography Session. I’m looking forward to creating beautiful artworks from your gorgeous family to be displayed and enjoyed for years and years.
Here’s some tips and info for a stress free shoot...

BEFORE YOUR SESSION Now we have chosen a flexable session date, we just have to wait for your little one to arrive! We will discuss colours and image ideas so that I can prepare for your session, and it can run smoothly. On the day of your session, it’s best to dress your little one in loose fitting clothing (ie a babygro) so it’s easy to strip them when you arrive. I recommend you hold off feeding your little one til you get to my home studio, as we can get them wrapped up and fed and they will stay asleep and snuggly for longer.
DURING YOUR SESSION Newborn sessions can take between 2-4 hours because we go at your babies pace. This will be a mixture of photography, feeding, pooping, cuddles and chatting and getting to know each other! I take my time with each image to get the best for you, whilst maintaining a safe and calming environment for your little one. Expect the room to be warmer than in your home as we want to capture naked and wrapped images of your little one so we need your baby to be calm and sleepy
AFTER YOUR SESSION When your session is completed and we have a great selection of images, you can head home calm and relaxed after a fun session. If you have agreed to a facebook sneak peek, keep an eye out. Next I go through your images and choose the best ones to hand edit into beautiful artworks. After around 10-14 days I will be in touch with your login details for your password protected gallery - now you can check out your gorgeous images. This gallery is live for 3 days for you to place an order, Prints, canvas’, USBs and other products are then ready for collection around 2-3 weeks after payment.
BASKETS AND PROPS I have a variety of headbands, outďŹ ts, hats and basket props to look through and choose your favourites.
I work with lots of neutrals and a spalsh of colour.
W H A T S H O U L D YOU W E A R ? If you are planning sibling or parent shots then I recommend plain and comfy clothing. Portraits with Mum or Dad are not compulsory - so see how tired you feel on the day! It’s best to keep things simple so bring/ wear a plain vest top, or t shirt for a timeless look - black, white or a nude/tan are best xxxx
HOW TO FIND ME... Llys y gwynt, (might have '10b' as an option for sat nav) Caemawr Gardens, Porth CF39 9DB Head to Porth - opposite the big white bridge, turn at the roundabout towards the swimming pool and the park. Go up the hill and straight on, past the turning to the pool & park, stay on that road till the end. The road curves to the right - stay on this road (some sat nav take you o this road) you should see a drive at the end with an old green army Landrover, so come on in!
