BANK DESIGN
Students were asked to design a two-storey bank /architecture office. The project was part of a curriculum-based design competition hosted and sponsored by ATB Financial and Kasian Architecture. The competition was judged based on innovation /concept, function, aesthetic, sustainability, and corporate identity.
CONCEPT - INTEGRATE To integrate is to merge two or more components together to form a whole. Elements of Grande Prairie's expansive skies and open fields are integrated into an architectural form to create a collaborative setting for the community. ATB strives to provide a new banking experience for its clients. The intent of this design is to reflect the company's aspirations by integrating architecture, nature, and the community to generate one-on-one interaction in a sustainable space.

PERSPECTIVE RENDERS Revit The perspective images were modelled and rendered using Revit. The bank was designed to add a more modern feel to Grande Prairie's cityscape while incorporating sustainable elements. Large spans of glazing and living walls were used to represent the expansive skies and wide open fields found in Grand Prairie. The south of the building has an exterior public seating area and walkway, while the north west perspective includes a blank wall to feature public art.
