CHECK PLEASE: a thesis OBJECT
Design an object that describes the purpose and emphasis of one’s THESIS objective. The object must be explorative and well crafted to relate to one’s ideas.
PRODUCT: act of buying
The act of BUYING is questioned in this object by creating a garment made out of proofs of purchases. How does the action of buying become more than a chore? How does it become self-expressive? How does it become a proof of social validation?
STUDY: consumption
CONSUMPTION becomes a debated issue within the retail industry. How could this issue possibly be related to how people perceive owning certain items? Or how people perceive sharing their purchases on social media?
