Talon eSports & KFC Thailand join hands for upcoming Arena of Valor team
Arena of Valor, formerly known as Strike of Kings, a 5v5 MOBA game developed by a Hong Kong based esports organization, Talon, have announced partnership with KFC Thailand & dtac, a Thailand based telecommunication company. Commercial terms were not disclosed to the public. However, as a part of this partnership, KFC Thailand will be featured on the front of the dtac Talon players’ jerseys. We can expect some co-branded marketing content and activations through this deal. Following this partnership, Talon’s RoV team will be rebranded as dtac Talon in all their upcoming tournaments of 2021. The interesting bit here is that Talon earlier this month had also signed a partnership with ESPAT, a digital media licensing platform, and in October 2020 Talon completed a USD 2 million funding round by Hana Digital transformation Fund. Considering these developments, one can assume that Talon esports–has a larger vision which will be clearer to all the gamers soon.
