PokerHigh joins Quadnet Poker Network

PokerHigh made a comeback by joining QuadNet Poker Network, India’s largest poker network, on 9 December, 2020. PokerHigh obtained its poker license from the Nagaland government in 2016 and was the third poker platform to do so. The poker platform will now share its player pool with well-known operators like Spartan Poker and BLITZPOKER. All the deposits and cashouts for PokerHigh will now be made by Spartan Poker’s parent company Quadrific Media Pvt. Ltd. With PokerHigh joining the QuadNet players can expect a lot more tournaments and offers coming their way.

Neymar Jr Rejoins PokerStars As Brand Ambassador

Football superstar Neymar Jr returns to the poker scene once again after rejoining PokerStars as an ambassador. The star announced his return with a social media post on 15 December, 2020. He had initially joined PokerStars back in 2015 but left two years later. The footballer is passionate about poker and even managed to win a pot with a royal flush in one of his poker games. The poker community is more than happy to welcome him back and his involvement in the game will only mean bigger things for the brand and the industry as a whole.

Huck Seed Inducted into Poker Hall of Fame 2020

On 31 December 2020, the Poker Hall of Fame voted Huckleberry Seed, the 1996 WSOP Main Event champion, as its 2020 inductee. Huck is the now the 59th person to be inducted into the club, joining popular players like Chris Moneymaker, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, and many more. The final list of ten nominees also consisted of known names like PokerStars’ founder Isai Scheinberg, Antonio Esfandiari, and first time nominee Patrik Antonius. Seed was the lone inductee for 2020, as the club decided to reduce the number of players inducted per year from two to just one.
