Festa Italiana was very cultural. There was fun music and people dressed up in traditional Italian clothing. Seeing others in touch with their culture was very interesting and beautiful. They had free food for volunteers who worked two shifts which I thought was very considerate. At the event, there were these very tall men on stilts and they were called stilt walkers. They were very kind and let me take a photo with them. Working with my other fellow volunteers was also nice because they have great personalities. They had a lot of food that you had to pay for but I do think it was quite an experience to try the food there. The people organizing the event were very professional people

Pixie woods was a very lovely area. There was an Alice in Wonderland lunch area and they also had a toad stone theater and house of mirrors. At the event I helped make some signs and set up table cloths. They had a bunch of play structures throughout the area and everything was very carefully detailed and beautiful. They also had a lake and a deck to look at it, they had a tiny stream and built a bridge over it as well. The area itself reminded of a place called fairy land in Oakland which is very similar to Pixie woods.
