Fifteen emerging Hawaii leaders, including Kanakolu Noa of Kamehameha Schools, and Ann Teranishi of American Savings Bank, have been selected for the seventh cohort of The Omidyar Fellows program, a leadership development program which equips mid-career leaders. This program is funded by the Omidyar Group, a philanthropic organization founded by Pierre Omidyar, founder of the auction website eBay.com, Honolulu Civil Beat and Ulupono Initiative. “We welcome this seventh cohort of inspiring leaders that are committed to improving Hawaii’s future as they join a network of 85 transformative leaders in the Forum of Fellows,” said Bill Coy, director of Omidyar Fellows, in a statement. Cohort VII will start in October, with 15 months of structured curriculum, which includes one full-day session each month, and executive coaching with community, business, and government leaders.
