Letter of support for establishing Gilda coworking space operated by Croatian Independent Professionals Association via Coworking Croatia program
March 2015 To whom it may concerns, We strongly support our valued partner, the Croatian Independent Professionals Association (HDNP), and their program Coworking Croatia in leading and promoting the Coworking movement and its values in Croatia. We, as Copass, built a network of collaborative workspaces which aims to create a global community of local communities. Croatia has an extraordinary potential. A solid independent workers, freelancers and startups' ecosystem is developing very fast there. Opening coworking spaces in this area will help them to meet their needs and expectations. HDNP’s latest initiative of opening a nonprofit coworking space named Gilda is therefore very valuable for the local but also global communities. We are also confident that Matija Raos, President of HDNP, and his team are the perfect match to manage this space. We met Matija Raos during the European Coworking Conference last year and were delighted by his professionalism, coworking knowledge, community involvement as well as his meaningful and inspiring ideas and values. With this letter, we encourage you to recognize Gilda initiatives as a great opportunity and potential for the City of Zagreb and support its development by all possible means.
