Letter of Support for establishing Gilda coworking space operated by Croatian Independent Professionals Association via Coworking Croatia program
We strongly support our valued partner, the Croatian Independent Professionals Association (HDNP), and their program Coworking Croatia in leading and promoting the Coworking movement and its values in Croatia. We find their latest initiative dedicated to support independent professionals in Zagreb through the establishment of the nonprofit coworking space Gilda extremely important for development of new economy models, social innovations and creative industries. We can state this based on our own experience of setting up a similar space and platform in Serbia, where conditions for the work of creative professionals and freelancers are similat to the ones in Croatia. Gilda should be seen as a great opportunity for work and collaboration of Zagreb‘s freelance community but also as empowerment of the local and national freelance movement and the freelance movement in general. We have had the pleasure to collaborate with Matija Raos, President of HDNP, and his team on several occasions, and the collavborations have been mutually beneficial. We believe that Gilda coworking space will create an atmosphere of trust, growth and prosperity in Zagreb. With this letter we encourage you to recognise Gilda initiative as a great opportunity and potential for the City of Zagreb and support its development by all possible means.
