mysteam land Steampunk is a synthetic word, which is composed of steam and punk punk. Steam naturally represents a large machine powered by a steam engine. Punk is a non mainstream marginal culture, which is written in street language dialogue. Its significance lies in the style independence of the subject matter, not anti social. Steampunk works often rely on some hypothetical new technology, such as new energy, new machinery, new materials, new means of transportation, etc., to show an overhead world outlook parallel to the western world in the 19th century, and strive to create its characteristics of fiction and nostalgia.
