It is creamy, refreshing, satisfying, pleasing and most importantly light. Let us check out how to make English Trifle at home. – Ingredients. One cup mashed strawberries. One cup strawberry jello. One cup cold water. One cup boiling water.


One cup banana slices. One cup pinapple chunks. One teaspoon sugar. One cup freshly sliced strawberries. One cup cold fat free milk. Angel cake. One package fat-free whipping cream. One package sugar free pudding mix. 1/4 cup Roasted almonds. How To Make? In a small bowl dissolve the strawberry jello in hot water, then mix with cold water, split the mixture in two halves, place the first half in the fridge for one hour or untill thick and keep the other half in room temperature. Combine the mashed strawberries with the one teaspoon sugar in a small bowl and set the mixture aside, cut the pinapple chunks in halves and set aside. In a Trifle bowl layer half of the following, sliced strawberries, angel cakes, pinapple chunks, mashed strawberries and bananas, pour the refrigerated jello on the top then place in the fridge with the second half of the reserved jello for one hour, set aside the remaining cake and fruits untill the Trifle is thickened. Mix the cold milk with the pudding mix for two minutes, layer half of the pudding over the Trifle, repeat the layering with the cake and the rest of the fruits over the Trifle, pour the remaining jello then top with pudding and whipping cream then place in fridge for 20 minutes and serve cold.
