DO YOU KNOW FAST FOOD IS SLOWLY KILLING YOU?

.................................................................................... Most people eating fast food know it is bad for their health, yet they keep eating it. This is because the fun they find in eating fast food outweighs its long- term implications. Fast food makes you gain weight and increases your risk of diabetes, which you probably know already.

The thing that you may not know is that fast food is addictive; the more you eat the more you need it. You would be astonished to know that egg sandwiches at fast food restaurants contain strange ingredients such as glycerin, which is found in soap. Research shows that obesity has doubled in children and tripled in teenagers during the last 30 years. It is found there is a strong relation between the rates of obesity in children and the increased advertising of non- nutritious foods. A study reveals that the actual meat in most fast food burgers ranges from 2.5% to 15%, and the rest of it is mostly preservatives and chemical fillers.

Chicken nuggets are even worse than burgers. Many chicken nuggets of the fast food restaurants have TBHQ- a chemical preservative that can cause vomiting and nausea. Not only this, but they are also made from mechanicallyseparated chicken, which is a mixture created from the leftover chickens. Actually, the healthier options at fast food restaurants are not that healthy; the “garden fresh salad with tender grill chicken has nearly 500 calories and about 30 grams of fat. It is important to know that fast food is loaded with saturated fat and cholesterol, which is found only in animal food products, as well as sodium. In brief, stay away from fast food and make it a resolution. It is much better and safer to eat home- made burgers than the fast food crappy pseudo- burger.
