Off course most women as soon as they find out they are pregnant or even while trying to get pregnant try to stay away from bad habits like smoking, alcohol, consuming caffeine, prescribed drugs or even over the counter drugs, if you have any of these habits make sure to quit it completely during the pregnancy and nursing. 2- Eat Properly. Some women look forward to the time of pregnancy to be able to eat whatever they want at anytime, however that is not a right approach to have a healthy pregnancy, gaining too much weight can cause troubles when it comes near to delivering the baby or can even make the healing period after the delivery long and complicated.

First you must take approval from your doctor or midwife to keep on doing the same Exercise regime you were having before the pregnancy, sometimes pregnant women are advised to slow down with the exercise and only do light activities because heavy exercises can cause risks for the pregnancy, so make sure to speak with your OB or midwife about the type of exercises you do and get the approval. 4- Take Your Daily Vitamins. During pregnancy your body and your baby’s body require more vitamins and minerals than in regular times, some of the parental vitamins contain the levels of vitamins and minerals that your body need exactly, however beside the vitamins also make sure you are eating foods that are rich with the vitamins and minerals your body need. The essential vitamins and minerals you need during pregnancy include , Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Folic acid, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Protein. 5- Rest. Rest is very important during pregnancy, you will naturally feel tired and sleepy, this is the natural call of your body to rest, you should rest as much as you can, because any physical or psychological stress can form danger for the pregnancy, priorities your tasks and make sure you get adequate rest everyday.
