How many treatments does it take?
With Sofwave™, most patients only need one treatment. Some may benefit from an additional treatment, depending on their body’s physiological response.
What does the Sofwave™ treatment feel like?
Patients may feel a warm sensation on their skin as the ultrasound energy is delivered, which can be resolved by applying a topical anesthetic cream just before the treatment. Following treatment, there are no sensations, and there is no need to apply special care to the skin. Patients may resume their daily activities quickly post-treatment.
How
long is the treatment?
A complete treatment can take as little as 30-45 minutes. Patients love that they can fit Sofwave™ into their active lifestyle at any time and season.
How long does it take to see results, and how long do they last?
Some patients have reported seeing immediate results as soon as 1 week following the treatment. The natural skin regeneration process can sometimes take up to 12 weeks, so patients are expected to see ongoing improvements during this period. Sofwave’s clinical evidence shows a significant effect up to one year following a single treatment.
