Telstra Award Finalists!
Hi Everyone We are pleased to announce that Health and Life has been named as a 2011 Telstra Award Finalist in the categories of the MYOB Small Business Award and the Yellow Pages Sensis Social Responsibility Award. We are one of only 4 companies to achieve 2 categories out of three. No companies have secured 3 from 3 categories out of the three thousand applications that were received by Telstra. The judging process was pretty tough. The judges (including an auditor) looked at everything from our office layout to our detailed business plans and undertook staff interviews. The competition is tough, we are running against companies like Beerenberg Farm who are jam producers that sell jam to Qantas, and well established financial institutions which is a little overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who provided us support in our application and especially the messages of support. The little things make a big difference and we appreciate you are all an important part of this journey. Thanks to all the staff again for helping out. There is still a long road ahead. The State Winners will be announced in July 2011 which is the next update. We are just happy to have gotten this far. Anything from here on is a bonus.
