Knowing that not all oral solid dose pharmaceuticals come packaged from the original manufacturer in unit-of-use or unit dose packaging, we are forced to rely on the extemporaneous packaging of oral solids. We have long recognized this need and carry a wide range of unit dose packaging materials - blisters and labels to provide users the ability to pick the appropriate packaging components that meet their specific criteria. Our Unit Dose Blister and Label product line provides the ability for pharmacists to choose the blister and label combination appropriate to meet their site-specific packaging decision criteria. HCL commissions the performance of USP Package testing to classify all of its packaging materials in accordance with USP Package Class Ratings (USP 27 Section <671>). This testing is rendered to permit an informed judgement regarding the suitability of the package for a particular type of product. We acknowledge that the final package is a combination of the blister material and the lidding (labeling) stock.
