When a customer needed two separate locking compartments within the same container, our team designed a solution. This two-in-one cabinet controls access to sorted contents and reduces unnecessary traffic in and out of patient rooms, especially those in isolation. A frosted finish minimizes visibility for patient privacy. It was so popular, it became a stock product.

HCL® Sink Splash Guard

A Pharmacy Inventory Supervisor took advantage of our made-to-order services when he needed a device manufactured to meet The Joint Commission’s requirement for splash guards in med prep areas that aren’t at least three feet from sinks. With specs in hand, our Plastics by Design team got to work.

“We were able to collaborate with HCL® to design a low-cost solution to our problem, which looks and performs great,” he said. “We were able to dictate the dimensions and the need for it to be made of a single piece of plastic that was easy to clean and without areas where germs could easily hide.”
