egardless of sexual orientation, age, race or gender, sexual health is an important part of our lives. This is particularly true at university – for some, increased independence leads to a desire to try new things and find out who you are. It is natural to want to have fun and experiment at university, however, it is important to recognise where the boundaries lie between fun and risk-taking behaviour. People’s experience of sex education in school is very varied. Some schools might have had a comprehensive cirriculum whereas others didn’t. Because of this, many of us don’t feel equipped to talk about our sexual health so now is the time to get clued up and take control.
