In the gym or a class, fitness has it’s own language

Eventually COVID restrictions will end and fitness classes will reopen. When that time comes, and you decide to go to the gym, it will pay to know what you’re looking for. Social media and internet posts may give great inspiration, but even then you might be scratching your head about some of the terms being used. Worry no more! Here’s a handy guide, although gyms, trainers and instructors often place their own twists on classes and fitness routines. Always ask for a demo before you buy and don’t be shy if you don’t know what your trainer is saying — always ask.

Aqua Aerobics

This cardiovascular challenge uses water resistance to sculpt your muscles while increasing cardiovascular endurance.

Belly Dancing
