The Balund-a Program sits within the works and education stream under reintegration. It is an innovative residential diversionary program for male offenders over 18 years of age.

An Identifed Aboriginal Counselling Facilitation Offcer is responsible for providing broad based and specialist assessment, crisis intervention, group and individual counselling services and programs to residents, to support resident case management whilst in the program and support their transition and integration into the community.

Backyard Sessions is a not-for-proft organisation that began transforming backyards into vibrant hubs for live entertainment within restrictions during COVID.

This year, the organisation is celebrating the festive season with a special Christmas in Wonderland theme, and for the frst time, it’s a free community event!

It is a signifcant milestone as they celebrate their new home at The Bowlo, Evans Head.

This will be the third annual Backyard Sessions event, a tradition they plan to continue.
