Dinner Time! Ben Norton

I had a friend, once, but I con-sumed Him. I was a friend, once, but

I consumed Him too. (that Chance…gone….forever…)

I had a companion once. But she’s now gone. She was consumed.

(By whom?)

By you.

(Who?) (Me?) (You) Yes, you. I had Hope once… Magnanimous, Magnificent, Marvelous,

Hope (But it threatened to consume me) …

“No good thing lasts.”

I had a family once; but I consumed them. I had tea with a nice old man once; but I consumed the tea. (I later ate the man.) There was once a world. Yet I (gladfully, joyfully) destroyed it. Now, I have nothing. Glorious, Gleeful, Grand, Ebullient

Nothing

And it’s either Consume, or be Consumed.
