Churchill’s studio seen through the window of his country home. Chartwell, Westerham, Kent, in 1959 when he was still in residence.

Two paintings from this collection can be seen hanging in the studio View of Blenheim Palace and By Lake Lugano (noted with arrows).

Churchill at his painting easel at Chartwell, as appeared on the cover of LIFE Magazine, 7th January 1946.

An earlier version of The Bay of Eze can be seen at bottom right (noted with arrow).
