Introduction Hello, this paper is about a survey I did for my seventh grade math class. I did my survey on pets so, I hope you enjoy learning about how it went.
Do you have a pet? After looking at this question I have learned that the majority of people at Hebron have a pet. To be honest the results on this one did not surprise me at all because most people at Hebron are semi well off.
What grade are you in? The only thing that really surprised me on this question is just how big the difference is between how many faculty and employees took this survey compared to how many kids there are that took this survey.
Is your pet young or old? On this question I expected a more even ratio of old to young pets but, still more young pets because of people getting a new pet/family member. This one makes me think of little puppys and kittys when I imagine all the times young pet was answered.
Do you play with your pet? I am very glad to see that most people are playing with their pets because it is just relaxing to play with a animal. Though I am wondering who those few people are that said no.
What type of pet/pets do you have?
I was very surprised to see hedgehog on the list and just saying I looked it up it is legal in maine. It also surprised me to see the amount of farm animals there was.
Conclusion Overall I think this survey went quite well I got a good amount of responses and it was cool to see some of the variation in the responses. If I were to do this survey again I might add a few more options on the question what type of pet do you have and delete the other option.
