It’s a revised rendition of one of our visually most outspoken designs to date, an icon amongst Hedgrenists. This reimagined collection adds modernity to the distinctive details and nostalgic look of the original 1993 edition. What’s more, the Great American Heritage is made of recycled materials.

We’ve resurrected the nostalgic details of the original collection while taking today’s standards into account considering functionality and style. The result? An iconic design for a wide range of customers! Our models Quest, Crusade, Canyon and Ventura cater to those who wish to combine the practical benefits inherent to Hedgren with a casual appeal. A bold, yet playful travel companion, this collection focusses on durability, sturdiness, personality and adventure! No stars and stripes, but available in four natural colors closely related to the successful Great American.

Sustainable Superior Fabric The Great American Heritage collection is sustainable; both the inner and outer fabrics are made using two different recycling techniques for optimal look, feel and quality. The main water-repellent material is 100% recycled nylon, made from fiber waste collected during yarn spanning. For the bottom of the bags, we used a combined high-density polyester, for extra protection. The inside lining fabric and the bottom are also 100% recycled polyester (RPET), made from recycled plastic bottles.
