Sunset” was inspired by the most brilliant illusions of the setting of the sun. Daina Elyse expresses, “I am in a very transitional period in life and I look at sunsets and believe they represent transition- the transition from day to night. I, personally, love the hues, colors and gradients of a beautiful sunset. The lighting is always beautiful, as all things are, at sunset, no matter where you are or what you are doing. My overall goal as a designer is to create timeless fashion. To create garments that will transition over time and through season. This collection was about creating pieces that are timeless, transitional and beautiful, very much like your every ‘dai’ sunset.”
