Mary Shelley was born in London, on August 30, 1797.
She was an English writer.
Her family
Mary’s father was a famous politician and a philosopher.
Her mother was also an important feminist writer, but she died when Mary was born.
She had only one sister.

She married an important English writer. They had four children.

I don’t think she was very happy: three of her children died and her husband drowned in the sea.

One day she had a dream. After this dream, she wrote her world-famous novel: Frankestein.
