Toe turn pivot drill Use this drill to help stopping quickly on one foot and being able to balance: Start at end of courts Run forwards and at certain points get players to stop immediately on the toe of one foot or another (one foot on way down and the other on way back) Pivot body on that one toe 90 degrees and pivot back. Continue running and stop again at next point.

Shadow badminton footwork Start in centre of court. Don’t try and go all the way to the corners but just take one step in each direction Split step before each step. Lunge to front Chasse to rear in one step SLOW recovery to middle but quick footwork to corners Get into rhythm Keep knees bent Start slowly and do once a week Keep balance between each movement BETTER BADMINTON on YouTube Racket leads footwork
