HELiOS: UVA Press biannual book catalogs
HELiOS art direction and design: Upon taking over the design and production of this biannual catalog, we focussed on making it more useful, more dynamic, and more efficient to produce. That included adjusting the format to allow more books per page, as well as a more striking visual design incorporating images sourced from the books inside and using metallic inks on the coves only. The entire process was driven by listening to their needs and responding with with a proposal that used significantly less paper and lowered printing and mailing expenses as well.
