SALACIOUS SWAPPING IN VILLAGE!

Book swappers in Mortimer were left feeling hot and bothered recently when a selection of salacious materials were discovered in the village book-swap.

Local swapper, Lola Froip, contacted us to urge residents not to leave inappropriate literature in the ‘Little Free Library’. “I was horrified to see a couple of risqué titles in there this afternoon. I have removed them and taken them home - It’s a joke.” she told us. “If whoever is leaving them is reading this, please stop. We are a respectable village and don’t want to encourage improper behaviour.” She also urged anyone who found further “infelicitous” material in the library to put it in the nearby bin. Who knows what will appear in there next!
