Back to making our hair look great and boy, do we need it! And they are back in their new home, too, which, to be honest, they barely had a chance to settle into before lock down struck. As you would expect, all of the COVID-19 safety guidelines are being followed to the letter and even with the safety panels in place, the salon succeeds in achieving a relaxed, welcoming feel.

Safety First:

As you would expect, the team at Elizabeth Kempson has undergone full training in COVID-19 hygiene and here are some of the additional measures that you will now see in place at the salon for your safety. You will be asked to wait outside the salon until your appointment time to keep the number of people inside the salon to a minimum. Your stylist will come to collect you at the time of your appointment. There are currently no waiting chairs in the salon, so please come to the salon alone. You’ll be brought over to the sanitation station so that you can sanitise your hands and, if you don’t have your own, supply you with a face mask. Each customer will be given a fresh apron and fresh disposable gown. You will be asked to sign in and out as part of the ‘Track and Trace’ system. There are now screens between the basins, as it’s difficult to socially distance there, and there are also screens in between each position as an extra safety measure, and also at the front desk. Stylists will wear appropriate PPE at all times and hairdressing tools will be disinfected and sanitised in between each customer.

On top of these safety measures, there are now disposable hand towels in the bathroom as well as touch-free hand sanitisers around the salon for your use.

If you’d like to purchase hair products, just let your stylist know on arrival and they will have them ready and sanitised for you on your departure.
