About the illustrator - Demelsa Haughton Demelsa is a painter of whimsical and magical imagery. Her work creates a sense of wonder and gives a snapshot of imaginary worlds and characters, often with an injection of quirky, subtle humour. With a background in traditional media, she now paints all of her art in Photoshop on a Cintiq tablet. She lives in North Yorkshire (UK) with her partner and their 3 children.

About the author/illustrator Hélène Magisson started her artistic career as a painting restorer in Paris, where she was also trained in the art of medieval illumination. Hélène has illustrated numerous books, including Slowly! Slowly! by T.M. Clark, a CBCA 2018 Notable Picture sof the Year. Originally from France, She lives in Brisbane, Australia. This is Hélène’s first solo title, as an author and illustrator.
