Dear Applicant, With great pride and pleasure, we as AIESEC in Jalandhar would like to hereby open the applications for Core Committee of Global Village 2015.

As an entity AIESEC in Jalandhar has gone from strength to strength, and the year 2015 will be a milestone in our history with us hosting this event.

Needless to say, the challenge falls on the shoulders of a giant who is willing to take up this responsibility and show the network the power our entity has to deliver GV 2015 in the best way possible for students and organizations and along the way create experiences for the numerous people you will lead as part of the core committee.

Being on the CC team means carrying the dreams of an LC that is striving for tremendous growth, positive change, undying passion, hope to succeed and believing in achieving. And this is a promise we can delivery only with amazing individuals on our CC team.

Expectations  Deadline for the Application is 3rd July 18:00PM  The CC team Interviews will be held from 4th July.  The Selected Candidates term lasts till 15th August(Tentative).  The CC team should on ground from 10th July.

Global Village Global village is A landmark event of coming together of cultures and people from various countries for A fortnight to create A potpourri of multiple cultures at its finest edge, with A thrust on sustainable environment and globalization.

Curo Highstreet is an upcoming European style highstreet market spread across 5 acres of land on 66 feet road adjoining Urban Estate Phase-2.

We have this place as our venue for doing a large scale global village with multiple events for the first-time ever in our history.

CCP Questionnaire  What is leadership to you? How do you measure leadership?  Gandhi or Hitler ? Why ?  What is your vision for GV 2015 ? What are the MOSes by which you will consider it a successful event ?  Considering Global Village initiative as a way to engage new stakeholders with AIESEC, what are your strategies to ensure more students and organizations as our audience ?  Mention all the risks for the event and set solutions for each one.  Make a weekly plan for the duties to be carried out by the CC from 1st July till 1st august.

Finance  Considering Global Village initiative as a way to engage new stakeholders with AIESEC, what are your strategies to ensure more students and organizations as our audience ?  Make a weekly plan for the duties to be carried out by you as CC F from 1st July till 1st august.  Present a rough budget for the event (Include Minimum Expenditure in the event, Strategies for cost cutting.)  What is your take on Bitcoin ?

Logistics  Considering Global Village initiative as a way to engage new stakeholders with AIESEC, what are your strategies to ensure more students and organizations as our audience ?  What do you foresee as key challenges in the event for CC VP Logistics. How would you overcome them ?  Suggest three ways of ensuring cost cutting while procuring logistics.  Brief about a tracking mechanism to ensure all logistics are in place at right time.

Business Development  What do you think are the three most important trends/issues that are affecting the global market currently and how do these influence have a unique selling point for GV 2015.  What’s the most important selling point for GV 2015 ?  What kind of market segmentation would you define for GV ?List down 3 companies from each market segment(Keep the USP in mind).  List down 3 important strategies to ensure proper partner servicing and preparation.

Marketing  What’s the most important platform for promotion of an event in Jalandhar ?  What kind of brand image you want to show for GV 2015 in Jalandhar.  What are you key priorities to ensure maximum footfall for the event. Brief about your action plan for the same.  Evaluate a event that has impressed you the most(Can be out of AIESEC). Mention the successful elements of that event and how can we leverage out of it for GV 2015.
