Based in Griffin, GA, Hammond Services is a family-owned and operated business, providing Heating and Air, Plumbing, Electrical, Cured in place pipe lining (CIPP) and Septic Services to 12 counties south of I-285 including Henry County.

Founded in 1979 by Ed and Barbara Hammond, now retired, the company has continued to grow its base of loyal customers through dependable, quality service and ethical business practices. Their established and consistent track record has led to long-term repeat customers and 1000s of five-star customer reviews on Google.

Celebrating its 40th year in business in 2019, the firm is now run by the next generation of Hammonds. David Hammond, Ed and Barbara’s son, became President in 1996 and his wife Lisa is Vice President. The Hammond Team is comprised of over 100 employees, including some original staff since 1979. Their technicians are based throughout Hammond’s service area to be available where they are needed and provide timely 24-Hour Service.

Hammond Services takes pride in its ability to typically provide one-visit repairs, “leaving the customer’s home better than the way we found it.” With respect for customers’ homes, technicians place their tools on mats, wear foot-covers, and clean up after the work – all part of their normal routine service.

Community Support

Hammond Services participates in and supports several charitable causes throughout the year with various sponsorships for Chamber events and programs. Their most beloved charities include Alzheimer’s Awareness, which is important to Lisa as her grandmother suffered from the disease and “Autism Speaks”, of which their son Daniel is impacted by a related condition.

Working alongside their staff and with the support of their loyal customers, they have raised thousands of dollars and increased awareness for both causes. Additionally, Hammond Services have teams involved in community activities and fundraising events, such as the Humane Society Chili Cookoff and the BraDazzelled Fashion Show which provides mammograms and diagnostic tests to qualifying individuals.

Chamber Involvement

In 2015, Hammond Services joined the Henry County Chamber of Commerce and has sponsored its Annual Golf Tournament for three years running. With a passion for education, Hammond Services also supports the Chamber’s Annual Teacher Induction Program, which welcomes new teachers to the Henry County School District. Lisa Hammond, who has lived in Henry County for over 40 years, commented, “We support our local Chambers and consider their resources to be essential to the community and business.
