Happy New Year! It is an honor to be named as the 2020 chair of the board for the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. When preparing for the year, I could not help but stop and reflect on how blessed the Henry County Chamber of Commerce is to have such a dedicated Board of Directors and staff. These business and community leaders care enough about the future of this community and are willing to give their valuable time to serve this organization. I look forward to serving alongside you this year and thank you for your willingness to serve.

Meet Christy Chewning, the 2020 Chair of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

In 2020, we want our chamber members to know that they belong to an organization that wants to collaborate with them. We are energized by shared drive and passion. We will ask our chamber members to engage with one another, sharing a vision of the future and sharing the collective influence to make the vision happen.

As a chamber and individuals in the Chamber, we want to lead by impacting our county and transforming our future. To Belong, Engage, and Lead will allow us to prosper, not only in growing your own business but by enriching our community.

The new year will bring greatness to Henry County!

I hope you will join us to celebrate our membership at our upcoming annual meeting. The evening will be spent recognizing great champions in our community and thanking Sharon Ponder for bringing her passion, intellect, and insight to the table as chair for 2019. The 2020 Annual Chamber Meeting & Awards Dinner will take place on Saturday, February 1, 6:00 p.m., at Eagles Landing Country Club. We will be celebrating 53 years of our Henry County Chamber of Commerce.
