Saying that ‘operating a business in 2020 has been difficult’ may be the understatement of the year. Beginning in March with the shut-down of the economy through the summer that saw businesses grappling to re-open, many with crushing limitations, to today, the struggle has been real. Businesses and organizations have had to find creative new ways to serve customers, to safely bring back staff or just stay in business — requiring a level of determination and innovation that rises far above the norm. The Chamber is seeking to recognize businesses, organizations, and individuals that have invented new and creative ways to overcome obstacles uniquely inherent to the pandemic or that have, in some way, met the challenges to sustain, expand or open new lines of business.
