Considering the number of returning veterans re-entering the work force, it may be time for employers to take another look at the skills our returning soldiers have to offer to the American job market. According to The Bureau of Labor Statistics unemployment for veterans ages 18 to 24 is at over 21% - more than double the national average. A recent NPRprogram reported that one of the problems with veterans finding jobs is that the skills they learned as soldiers do not translate to well to civilian life. Dennis P.
