One of the most important aspects of extending a working dental practice is in the planning to keep disruption to an absolute minimum. We wanted the whole project to be done to the highest possible standards and that’s why we called on some of the best dental build experts and suppliers in the business, including Henry Schein Dental, to bring our plans to fruition.

I was involved with the project the whole way through, but the really hard work came from our architects, builders and Henry Schein Dental. Despite it being a lengthy project everything went according to plan, the practice remained open for business throughout and we are absolutely delighted with the final result and better still, our patients love it too.

Working with the architects, we produced the necessary drawings, and working alongside their builders creating layouts bespoke to their requirements. My job was to oversee that everything was right with the installation of the services, flooring and cabinetry along with the handover of the equipment to ensure they understood exactly how everything worked. The building work took well over a year to complete and having worked in the industry for 34 years this is one of the best practices I’ve ever been involved with.
