“Nestled in one of the busiest corridors in East Jakarta. Cerita Cafe comes as welcome sanctuary - an oasis - from the hustle of urban life.”

In order to create the atmosphere of an oasis, the building is surrounded by lush and diverse vegetation, placing visitors inside a rich yet simple tropical garden.

The Cafe was designed to create a space for urban dwellers to get together and rest awhile from the daily routines

The plants also help regulate oxygen and bringing down temperature, bringing in cool breezes, aided by the spaces around adjacent buildings which are intentionally left vacant
