WATCH WHAT YOU SAY By James Bridges

Watch What You Say by James Bridges HERBAGE MAGAZINE According to the Domestic Violence Homicide in Oklahoma 2020 annual report by County from 1998 to 2019, 1,881 victims lost their lives to domestic violence in Oklahoma. The World Health Organization estimates that roughly 55% of domestic abuse perpetrators were drinking alcohol prior to assault. There were three of these events in 2019 that also involved the death of children. These three events resulted in the death of five children. Every month in the U.S., 50 women are shot and killed by intimate partners. According to a new study, cannabis has drastically reduced the number of... This is the terminology that people who are uneducated yet interested in the positive outcomes of cannabis like to see and read. It has very little to do with the overall picture. Many standards, including mine, would indicate that this could be one of the most ignorant ways of describing a medicinal plant to a group of people who just want to be ok with it. This is our opportunity. Our chance. We are at the forefront of an industry and a lifestyle in which we, us, not the man behind the curtain, can capitolize. We truly have the opportunity to properly educate ourselves. The overall effects of cannabis are not defined by explosive actions of those who may or may not be directly under the influence of said cannabis. It’s proposterous to think that you could accurately depict or even guage how abusive someone would be if they just simply made a switch. Though it is quite remarkable to witness those that switch from alcohol stop seeing that “red” violent light. The medicinal value of cannibis is devalued so greatly when it’s put into a sample jar such as this. Though, I can find satisfaction knowing that in the end the plant will always win. I’m just not certain that “by any means” is actually necssary to make a point when it’s blatenly staring you in the face. There is a time and place to make noise. That time is usually when those that you want to listen cram more mud into their ears. If you wait long enough, continue the mission, believe in what you are trying to accomplish, and most of all be empeccable with your words, (specially those words which fall into the ears of those whom believe themselves to be of a higher educational level than most), Good will prevail. Good will prevail. Good will prevail.
