Welcome from general manager donna moore wesby
Letter from Donna Moore Wesby -- General Manager/Program Director The Word of God says in Habakkuk 2:2, “Then the Lord replied: write down the vision (revelation) and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.” For 13 years, WAAW has continued to run with the vision that was written down by Mrs. Izora Norman Gunter, Pastor Lester A. Smalls, and Bro. Ruben Freeman. I am humbled and blessed to be part of such a meaningful event that brings together amazing Gospel artists as a way WAAW Shout 94.7 FM gives back to the community. Shoutfest could not happen without the sponsors, donors, vendors, artists, musicians, service providers, and numerous volunteers. Special thanks to our Gold Sponsor Attorney Everett Chandler of The Chandler Law Firm who unselfishly gives of his resources to support Shoutfest and WAAW throughout the year! I’d like to also thank everyone who met numerous times to plan the lineup, stage management, parking and safety plans, audio, and event layout. The countless hours sacrificed to unite thousands of God’s people is worth the effort if only one person, who did not know the Lord, comes to know Him through this event. On behalf of the owners, Dr. Frank and Mrs. Toronta Neely, and the WAAW Shout 94.7 FM staff, thank you for coming today as we celebrate Jesus together. May your days be filled with joy in the Lord!
