Double Action Out-the-Front A double action out-the-front, the blade can be deployed and retracted with one hand. The knife’s smooth action starts with a stepped thumb slide so you can fire the blade with confidence. Elegant sweeping lines and jimping down the length of the handle add depth to an otherwise smooth body. A hardened steel glass breaker rounds out the handle. Choose from 3 sizes to suit a range of EDC needs.

Introduced in 2015 the Hydra pioneered a button safety. The newly textured firing button is protected by a sculpted titanium swivel cover that adds both aesthetics and assurance. Precision engineered with a stainless charging handle and carbon fiber charging plate, the Hydra deploys with speed and force. A weighty handle absorbs firing energy and contours improve grip allowing the knife to sit well in your hand. The Hydra 2.0 exhibits purposeful attention to detail, with jimping on the blade spine carrying over to the handle and charging handle.

Like so many of the finer things in life, the Wraith just gets better with age. Heretic’s flagship model underwent a redesign in 2020. Most notably, the addition of a larger, textured, rectangular-shaped button supports effortless deployment. Riding on caged race bearings, opening and closing is as smooth as glass. The knife retained it’s scalloped handle with ridged spine, though the channels on the face have been replaced with a frag pattern. The pocket clip has been upgraded to Heretic’s single prong ball bearing clip, allowing the knife to maintain a secure grip but still glide smoothly in and out of your pocket.
