HeritageForAll Initiative About "HeritageForAll" Initiative mainly focuses on the heritage and/or museum management and conservation. It shares up-to-date aspects in relation to heritage conservation, site management, and museology with the young professional within its virtual platform as well as a group of capacity building activities. These activities are often opened to all interested people from all educational backgrounds and from various age groups as well. In the future, it is going to be a consultation entity for the heritage sites and museums presenting the applicable recommendations and suggestions. It seeks to raise an awareness of the local community for their cultural heritage. HeritageForAll Internship Program (2018) Category (1): Heritage (and/or) Museum Studies Researcher Deeplakshmi B.Saikia Assam, India Deeplakshmi is M.Phil. in Art History at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her research concentrates on the illustrated manuscripts of medieval Assam, specifically three manuscripts from the three major schools of miniatures from that period. Besides the stylistic and symbolic aspects of her research topic, she is also interested in the practice of making these illustrated manuscripts. She recently completed a workshop on the production of these illustrated manuscripts in the indigenous style which has been monumental in her understanding of the making as well as conservation of these artworks. Her other interests include writing poetry, dancing, baking, painting, and reading books. In the past, she has interned at ThatsPood Media Pvt Ltd which is an online channel, as a content writer. She has also volunteered at a Bangalore-based NGO called U&I as a teacher. In the future, She hopes to be working for Indian history and its heritage. She is specifically interested in the field of teaching. By way of this internship at HeritageForAll Initiative, she hopes to discuss and learn about the heritage of her own country as well as the countries of her fellow interns. Intro. Ellie Lee Queensland, Australia Ellie is a deep interest and curiosity for cultural heritage, so much so that she left her nursing career to pursue her Masters of Heritage Conservation in an effort to gain employment in this field. This qualification developed her skills in assessment, interpretation, management, documentation, and formation of policy for culturally significant places. Utilising these skills, she has gained and maintained ongoing employment with the Department of Environment and Science since 2015 as a Senior Heritage Officer where I have been assessing and providing advice on Development Applications and Exemption Certificates for State heritage places. Her passion has led her to attend conservation projects in Italy, France, Scotland, and Australia assisting in the restoration and conservation repair of heritage structures. Intro. Micaela Mikhy Neveu Paris, France Micaela is a PhD student in art history and museology, under the direction of Daniel LĂŠvine at the "CeRAP", Center for Research on Pre-Columbian America, Sorbonne Uni. in Paris (SUP). After extensive training in the performing arts, she commenced her studies at SUP where she got B.A. degree in art history and archaeology, and majored her M.A. degree in museography and in particular the architecture and scenography of museum spaces in the west, the major exhibitions, the changes and the evolution over the last 30 years through the influence of stage designers and directors from the world of theater, opera and museum institutions. In a continuity approach, she continues her Ph.D. research project on the theme of theatricality and the staging of collections in museum-exhibitions centered on the non-western arts, with the main focus being on the museology of the arts of the PreColumbian civilizations in the American continentals, their staging and the underlying political discourses in the exposition scenographies. Hashid Sarfraz Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan Hashid Sarfraz is a young heritage professional from Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. Â In 2017, he has attained B.Sc in Architecture. His professor, Conservation Architect Sajjad Kausar has been the source of his inspiration towards Cultural Heritage. Having driven by the interest in the field of heritage conservation, he has been progressively working in projects that involve different communities, their heritage, and culture; analyzing, recording and documenting them. Studying the socio-cultural impacts of urban peripheries as opposed to their role and effects on the existing historical fabric of the city, thereby creating and translating narratives that help to investigate through the problems of modernization and its attitude towards the past legacies. He has tried to utilize every opportunity that came across for my personal and professional growth. Right at the beginning of my professional career, he worked, with Architect Marvi Mazhar on a project of heritage mapping in Karachi, Pakistan, keeping intact the ethics of heritage management and making heritage not just a tool to promote the cultural assets but also to invest in the upkeep of endangered sites. Lotte Portier Amsterdam, Netherlands Lotte Portier has B.A. in Cultural Studies, Amsterdam Uni. (UvA), Netherlands. Her B.A. dissertation was focused on ICH especially the craft and craftsmanship of the Miller and how to safeguard these by UNESCO ICH List. As B.A. Student, her main goal was to learn more about the Cultural Heritage and Cultural Policy field in the Netherlands and worldwide. In addition, she did a researchinternship at the municipality of Baarle-Nassau doing researches on the Belgian and Dutch enclaves of this town in relation to the procedure to the inscription on UNESCO WH List. Before studying at UvA, she received a propaedeutic certificate for Cultural Heritage at Reinwardt Academy, Amsterdam School of the Arts as well as to do an internship at UNESCO WH Podium of the Office Monuments and Archeology, Amsterdam Municipality assisting in the organization of the permanent and temporary exhibition at WH Podium. In September 2018, she will start M.A. degree in Policy, Heritage, and Education, Maastricht Uni., Netherlands. Now, she is a board member of the Royal Dutch Monuments Federation and to work as a host at numerous museums and cultural organizations in Amsterdam such as  Canals Museum, Huis Marseille, and Royal Palace Amsterdam. Anum Khan Rawalpindi, Pakistan Anum is Archaeologist, Taxila Institute of Asian Civilizations, Quaid-e-Azam University. She is interested in promoting virtual archaeology in Pakistan. Salma Farouk Cairo, Egypt Salma is an architect and urban designer with a special interest in the urban design area. She is a responsible, dedicated, persistent, honest, with initiative, leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, solid academic preparation and commitment to achieve objectives. Her professional and academic interest is focused on understanding the social, environmental and political dynamics that transform the territory, to design spatial-aware projects which are able to change and adaptive according to temporal, demographic and technological conditions of a site. HeritageForAll Internship Program (2018) Category (2): HeritageForAll Project: Online Library in Heritage & Museum Studies Yomna Khaled Cairo, Egypt Youmna graduates from the Faculty of Archaeology, Islamic Antiquities Dept, Cairo Uni. She has a high passion for the cultural heritage. Ů?As a local guide, she participates in arranging numerous international events with UNESCO New Delhi Office-supported initiative GoUNESCO such "Make Heritage Fun!" in Gayer Anderson Museum and el Muzz street. On the other hand, she participates lately #HeritageForAll Workshop "Urban Architectural Heritage and Social Interaction" that was held in Rashid. Overall, she has a great passion to support the cultural heritage which she believes, to form our national culture. Therefore, she seeks to contribute to raising awareness of the young multi-disciplinary professionals for studying the cultural heritage in a new overview. So, according to her statement, she participates in HeritageForAll project "Online Library in Heritage & Museum Studies" that will help many researchers in this field.

Marwa Alkhawas Cairo, Egypt Marwa is an undergraduate student of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams Uni. She is interested in language as an intangible cultural heritage being a documentation of oral and behavioral traditions and a covenant on civil and political rights of particular societies. She is also fascinated by the linguistic heritage, especially the anthropological and social interdisciplinary each and both with linguistics and the theory of language policy and its application in the Middle East, especially in the countries where English is an educational language. And, she is intellectually curious about how the national language in Egypt is a mapping instrument of geographical, historical, religio-cultural and ethnic identities.Â
Reham Hassan Cairo, Egypt Reham graduates from Faculty of Arts, Archaeology Dept., Ain Shams Uni. She is interested in Islamic arts and architecture. She has a high passion to find out entirely the history and culture of every Arabic and foreign cities. She volunteered at various NGOs and summer camps helping kids to explore their culture and arts and how to safely live their life. She also believes the significance of safeguarding the cultural heritage that to link the local community with their religion, traditions, beliefs, and so on. Cultural Heritage matches us with another similar mindsets and backgrounds and to raise our awareness about the previous generations and their history. It provides the present a sense of unity. In the next few months, she is going to specialize, through M.A. degree, in the study of Islamic art and architecture.

She joints some events with Wasf Misr Association in El Muzz Street and Saladin Citadel. She pursuits her passion for Graphic Design and then, she works as a designer for over one year. Now, she contributes to helping HeritageForAll to design its website.
