Identity and diversity in Western Balkans: A strategy for the integration of the minority communities The Western Balkans is defined by multiple identities. This fact is followed by the organization of intercultural living in a multi-ethnic society. Even though legislations for the protection of the cultural rights of these communities exist, there is a lack of implementation of these legal frameworks. In addition to addressing these concerns, this paper will propose a strategy that encompasses the whole Western Balkan and the possible integration of its minorities through intercultural events.
