“A Mile in H.E.R. Shoes” To Whom It May Concern:
Another Chance Ministries, HerPanache.com and the Beautee Branding Brigade would like to present an opportunity for your participation in the “A Mile in H.E.R. Shoes” charity event for battered and homeless women. “A Mile in H.E.R. Shoes” is slated to take place on October 22nd, 2011 from 10am-3pm at Grossinger City Autoplex, 1530 N. Dayton Street Chicago, Illinois 60642. We will be offering a day of pampering to battered and homeless women that will include hair styling, manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, make-up applications, health screening and more!! During this event, we will be serve food and have a drive for clothing, shoes and toiletries. In addition, we will also have various presentations that will include vocal performances, poetry and inspirational speakers. Through the “A Mile in H.E.R. Shoes” event, we intend to bring in a great deal of the general population by offering donation incentives. The donation incentives will go as follows: the first 100 guests that bring 3 or more gently worn articles of clothing will receive a travel certificate for a vacation getaway to over 40 destination locations (courtesy of Vault Denim Independent Consultant, Kim Weaver); the first 100 guests that brings 3 or more gently worn shoes will receive a BRAND NEW PAIR from HerPanache.com; a FREE raffle ticket will be given to every guest that brings in at least one of the following: toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, socks, deodorant, sanitary napkins, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, tissue, wet wipes, and/or Vaseline. Because many of these women are mothers, children items are also welcome. “A Mile in H.E.R. Shoes” will be advertised through multiple outlets that will include, but not be limited to, flyers, e-mail blasts, websites, blogs, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Individuals from the media and photographers will also be invited to cover and capture the moments. We acknowledge that it would be impossible to make this event the success without the collective efforts of all parties involved. In effort to offer participant recognition, event sponsors, donors, and volunteers will be showcased via step & repeat back drops, event tee shirts, programs, etc. (budget permitting) If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 773-234-3159 or via e-mail at info@herpanache.com. Thank you for your time and have a prosperous day!!
Most Sincerely,
Shareha Adriann
He'll Carry You We're living in a cold world, And often feel alone. Scattered dreams and broken hearts, We know these as our own. But life can be much better, Just open up your eyes. Right before you, you will see, Warm heavenly blue skies. God never meant for us, To walk this road alone. He never meant for us, To try it on our own. He wants the world to know, That he is always here. When you're weak He'll carry you, And show you that He's near. There are days my strength is gone, My faith feels O so weak. I try to make it on my own, But I am feeling beat. A gentle breeze reminds me, That God is still with me. He softly whispers in my ear, "I love you; trust in me." Life is so much better; When God is by your side. He'll help you through each day, You'll never run and hide. He knows that we aren't perfect, That's why He stays by you. God's love will never leave you, He's faithful and He's true. -Nancy Burr
