Committee Role Description The RAG committee is responsible for organising, promoting and running fundraisers. These can be anything from a bake sale or BBQ to the infamous Jailbreak or EleHouse Weekender. The committee will be supported by the Student Activities Team, but is largely self-sufficient. This allows the RAG committee to have a large degree of flexibility and control around what they do each year.
What will I have to do? Help facilitate the annual RAG charity selection process Support student groups who 'Adopt a Charity' Attend regular RAG committee meetings Bring new ideas for events & activities to the table Advertise RAG on campus and in the student community Organise, promote and run fundraising events Liaise with the Students' Union Liaise with participants, RAG volunteers and organisations Work as a team to market communications for RAG projects Do your best to ensure the longevity of RAG
Would I be a good fit for the RAG committee? Any student can get involved with RAG, there are no set criteria. In fact, we believe the RAG committee will really thrive with a combination of characters. It will need the creative types; the organised ones; those with lots of passion. Your unique attributes are sure to be a brilliant addition to the RAG committee.
