I’m Heshvin Vasudevan, a multidisciplinary graphic designer based in Kuala Lumpur who is passionate about creating and making things. This includes design, film photography, cooking, woodworking & many more that I’m yet to discover.

This passion forces me to take extra time to consider my options to come up with a solution that not only cuts through the noise but takes a refreshingly simple approach. Distilling down ideas until it becomes pungent enough to create engaging experiences with high level of quality, is something I endlessly strive for. I am always happy and ready to jump on a new brief with a positive attitude of getting to the heart of it.

Sunway Pals is a single card loyalty programme that rewards points & other special privileges on all spending, from participating 470 merchants and selected Sunway businesses. Since its inception, the loyalty programme did not get the attention it desired. Many customers did not see the vast benefit of the Sunway Pals card. With that, Sunway Pals required a rebranding for the ultimate purpose of reintroducing the loyalty programme to their customers.

ABOUT Helios replaced Sunway Pals one-card-serves-all approach with a new 5-card system based on the 5 target market that Sunway already appealed to. A Greek approach was chosen for its look and feel as Sunway is known to introduce mythical concepts in their branding. With that, a brief study was done on Greek designs that led to a visual direction of using repetitive patterns as anchors for the direction. The patterns were conceived using elements of the Greek character it embellished. Custom typography was created to match and enhance the Greek look and feel.

ABOUT Networking the future set the stage for the branding exercise. The idea is to latch onto the concept of space and light as a way to represent the Aries brand. We drew inspiration from stars, star maps, constellations and space to come up with a visual direction. A customised logotype was created to imbue a sense of technology and innovation.

ABOUT The architectural concept of DC Mall was done to represent the natural state of Damansara Heights, the river and the lush greenary. Each floor was a designated part of that ecosystem. Using that as a base, patterns were created to further carry that idea into the branding.

The UI was designed to give the user a quick glimpse of the many facets of Damansara City to instill the concept of an intergrated development by simply scrolling down. Additional information of the section would be available in the sub pages.


This was one of the exciting projects done during my tenure at Ganforhire. A Deepavali campaign, “An Enlightened Deepavali�, aimed to celebrate the spirit of good overcoming evil through knowledge, wisdom and courage. Three personalities were chosen based on the causes and sacrifices they fought for. Nelson Mandela who fought the apartheid courageously, Mahatma Gandhi and his quest for independence through peace & Malala Yousafzai who stood up for her right to learn. We created kolam portraits of these personalities over the course of 3 days, 1 portrait a day using a total of 6kg of

This is one of the exciting projects I had to accomplish in my final years of college. The objective was to create a book that had an interesting subject in a particular country. It was not restricted to anything at all. It could be something as simple as food, festivals or something complicated

Graffiti was my chosen subject to promote Malaysia. The street is our canvas was the title as the contents of this book was made up mostly of graffiti artist’s thoughts on graffiti in Malaysia, as an artform and also on a more personal note, why do they do what they do. The idea of the book came about as I got to learn and understand these artist. They looked like a regular joe, a simple person and has a day job (black cover) but the perception takes a drastic change when you give them a spray can. A array striking colours bursts out of their personalities onto the empty wall.
