SMARTAC KG8000

SMARTAC KG8000 series is a 50µm cast PVC vinyl film designed for letters & logos for long term outdoor use. Its technical performances and its high conformability make it suitable for curved and textured surfaces (recesses & rivets) as well as flat surfaces. KG8000 has a permanent solvent acrylic adhesive allowing it to adhere to a large variety of substrates. The colour pigments selected are automotive grade, meaning the colour will stay brighter for longer and the surface will be a higher gloss. Fire rating M1.

SMARTAC EVOLUTION A5000 PVC FREE

High-performance 60µm PVC-free Cast PU film with solvent acrylic adhesive system. Perfectly suitable for indoor and outdoor signage. Its high technical performances ensure excellent conformability, enabling it to be applied on concave or convex surfaces. Metallised shades are intended for flat or 2D surfaces only, without stretching them. A5000 has an increased resistance to abrasion, compared to CAST PVC. This chlorine-free product is perfect for laser cutters and engravers.

Flexibright prismatic grade 350-450µm reflective film, designed for user friendly application onto emergency service vehicles and motorbikes where a tough weather resistant rugged product is required. Very high prismatic brightness, 5 colours including 1 fluorescent for enhanced daytime visibility. Outdoor durability 7 years for colours, less for fluorescent colours. Meets PSDB specifications. The product is single layer so no edge sealing is required with this film and it withstands power washes due to its aggressive high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. The material is die cuttable and plotter cuttable, and easy to apply onto smooth painted or unpainted vehicle surfaces. Flexibright is composed of cube corner (microprism) reflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced tough and weather resistant UV stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposition of aluminium to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. This product is engineered to conform to the demands of vehicle shapes it is great for application onto curved surfaces especially on motorbikes so templates and kits require less pieces.

50µm cast holographic polyester UV stabilised opaque chrome subsurface metallized on one side, so the colour and effect shows through the polyester surface. The UV stabilisation adds 6-18 months longer extended outdoor durability compared to most competitor films. A higher lustre and light reflectivity is achieved by utilising the ultra-high clarity polyester which is not normally used outside highly critical industrial applications. The higher temperature resistance polyester and almost non-existent shrinkage makes it ideal for high temperature applications. A unique high temperature permanent acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesive also adds to the products’ ultra-high performance bonding to a smooth, clean, wax free surface. The release paper is balance formulated to the adhesive for best cutting and weeding. The 135gr/ m² silicone coated release liner protects the adhesive prior to application allowing the film to remain flat in sheet or roll form.
