In Chinese culture, people often say that Lotus flowers emerge unstained from the filth. It is a symbol of purity and enlightenment. When it comes to bridal bouquets, it refers to long life and honor as well. Today we love to share a tutorial with you here, you might try to follow the steps and pick up some technique easily!

1.Find a photo of lotus flower, high resolution is preferable as it will be more easy to manage the detail. Use pencil and create a quick draft of the flower softly. Then we can use pink coloured pencil to outline the flower as it is the primary color, simply follow the draft you made. 2.Apply color red on every petal’s head to show some fading effect. At the meantime, draw some lines from the top of the petals to the stamen to show the patterns.

3.After the outlining and the primary colors are fully applied, color some of the petals with yellow to make a slightly contrast. 4.When the whole flower is done, simply draw a pedicel underneath and color it in green.
