Dear Parent/Guardian: You recently received information about our Pre-Prom meetings that will take place on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at High School EAST and Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at High School WEST at 7:00 pm. Enclosed is additional information about the purchasing of tickets to the prom. It is my hope that every senior will have the opportunity to attend the Senior Prom and our Graduation ceremony. Please remember that participation in these events may be denied if a student violates our “Code of Conduct” which includes participating in any “Senior Prank” activities. In the beginning of June you will receive information about the Graduation Ceremony which will be held on June 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon. I look forward to seeing you that day to celebrate your child’s successful completion of his/her school years at High School West. Sincerely,

To the Class of 2010 and Families, We would like to continue the tradition of putting together a montage to be shown at graduation consisting of pictures of the senior class from kindergarten through the present. To this end, we are seeking photographs of all seniors, individually or in groups, to be used in the montage. Digital pictures can be emailed to gbits@optonline.net. Photos can also be left in a box in the main office. Please note, however, that we are unable to return any photos submitted. If you need the photo back, I suggest scanning and emailing same. Pictures can be of students in school, at after school activities or at private functions - we ask, however, that only this year’s seniors be in the photo. Please be sure to identify each person. The names should be written on the back of the photo or sent in the email for those forwarded electronically.
We will be accepting photos until June 1st but would appreciate receiving them as soon as possible. Your participation and cooperation are greatly appreciated. Sincerely,

The Senior Prom Friday, June 25, 2010 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Leonard’s of Great Neck-La Dolce Vita 55 Northern Blvd. Great Neck, NY 11021 (516) 487-7900 Parents must attend a pre-prom meeting and a Code of Conduct must be signed and returned before tickets may be purchased. Tickets cost $100.00 per person and will go on sale Tuesday June 1, 2010. All tickets must be purchased NOT LATER THAN Friday, June 18, 2010. Tickets must be purchased by all the members of a table before the table can be reserved. Tickets will be able to be purchased from Mrs. Debbie Coffey at the desk across from the Counseling Center. Cash or checks payable to High School West will be accepted.
HALF HOLLOW HILLS HIGH SCHOOL WEST SENIOR PROM - - CODE OF BEHAVIOR ******BRING THIS FORM TO THE PRE-PROM MEEETING****** Students and their guests who do not adhere to the Half Hollow Hills Code of Conduct are subject to disciplinary action which may include suspension from participation in the Commencement ceremony. 1. Anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to attend the dance. Your parent/guardian will be notified to pick you up from the prom. 2. All cars and limousines will be checked upon arrival to the prom. If alcoholic beverages or drugs are found in a car or limousine, all passengers will not be permitted to attend the dance. Your parent/guardian will be notified to pick you up from the prom. 3. Once entering the prom, you will not be allowed to leave the building and re-enter. 4. No refunds will be issued to any student who leaves the dance or is dismissed by an administrator. 5. There is to be no smoking at Leonard’s of Great Neck (inside or outside the building).
